Job Summary

Remont Oxford Hotel is seeking a motivated Hotel Operations & Marketing Manager to oversee daily hotel operations, guest experience, and revenue performance. The role requires strong attention to detail, hands-on operational management, and the ability to support both service quality and business growth.

Duties

• Manage guest communications and ensure high-quality guest service at all times
• Oversee housekeeping standards and ensure cleanliness of rooms and public areas
• Maintain hotel brand standards across all guest-facing areas, including breakfast and food service presentation
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms, facilities, and public areas to ensure quality and consistency
• Monitor health & safety compliance, including fire safety and hygiene procedures
• Manage room pricing, occupancy, and revenue performance across booking platforms
• Adjust rates and implement promotional strategies to maximise occupancy and revenue
• Ensure booking systems and guest records are accurate and up to date
• Support basic marketing activities and market analysis
• Carry out end-of-day procedures and ensure the hotel is securely closed

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel operations, hospitality management, or a similar role
• Strong customer service and organisational skills
• Experience with booking systems or OTAs is preferred
• Understanding of hotel operations, hygiene, and health & safety standards
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
