Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, mobility, and nutrition
• Support the implementation of individualised care plans tailored to each resident’s needs
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided using IT systems
• Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and team members to ensure high-quality care delivery
• Ensure the safety and comfort of residents at all times within the care home environment
• Support with home care tasks where required, including light housekeeping and medication reminders
• Adhere to health and safety protocols and infection control procedures diligently

Experience

• Previous experience working in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
• Good IT skills for maintaining records and updating care plans
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when necessary
• Driving experience with a valid licence is preferred for supporting residents outside the care home environment
