Role Overview

Lift Beacon High is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join its new Autism Resource Provision (ARP).

This provision supports students with Autism and associated social communication needs, helping them access learning, build confidence, and achieve success both within the ARP and across the wider school community.

Working alongside experienced teachers and HLTAs, the Teaching Assistant will support the delivery of a bespoke curriculum, lead small-group interventions, and help students successfully integrate into mainstream lessons.

The role plays a vital part in promoting independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for students.

About Lift Beacon

Lift Beacon is a large primary school on the edge of Loughborough with an MLD Special Provision and Nursery.

It is a child-centred school where children are at the heart of everything. The school works closely as a team to improve life chances for children from across Loughborough, including Shelthorpe Estate. Many pupils have EHCPs, and over half are eligible for free school meals, creating a diverse and supportive learning environment.
