LEEDS UK GROUP LTD is an independent DPD delivery partner recruiting drivers for DPD delivery routes.

This role involves delivering parcels on behalf of DPD in the Leeds area. The company focuses on timely and efficient deliveries, with a strong customer-first approach and community presence. Drivers are expected to bring a positive and reliable working attitude.

Drivers can choose from industry-leading vehicles, including electric options. Personal vans are also accepted, with company support for DPD branding. Uniform is also provided.

No previous experience is required, as full training is provided. A valid UK driving licence is the main requirement.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle following all traffic laws and company policies
• Deliver parcels promptly and securely to customers
• Obtain signatures or proof of delivery where required
• Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery updates
• Load and unload parcels, including heavy items when necessary
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle
• Report vehicle issues or accidents immediately

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record preferred
• Must be over 18 years old for insurance purposes
• No more than 6 points on driving licence
• Prior delivery or commercial driving experience is preferred but not required
• Warehouse or heavy lifting experience is advantageous
• Strong communication skills
• Good time management and route planning ability
• Knowledge of local roads and navigation tools beneficial
• Physically fit for loading, unloading, and long driving hours

• Monday to Friday
