Windrush Care is a CQC-registered domiciliary care provider delivering high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes in Cheltenham and the North Cotswolds areas.

Windrush Care is seeking a compassionate and reliable Domiciliary Care Worker who requires a Skilled Worker visa sponsorship to join the team.

Successful applicants will initially be employed on a 20-hour per week contract for no less than 8 weeks. Subject to satisfactory performance and operational requirements, the role will then progress to a full-time 37.5-hour per week contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
• Assist with medication in line with care plans and company policy
• Support service users with meals and daily living tasks
• Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing
• Maintain accurate care records
• Follow CQC standards, safeguarding procedures, and company policies

Essential Requirements

• Eligibility for UK Skilled Worker visa sponsorship
• Willingness to work an initial 20 hours per week for a minimum of 8 weeks
• Availability to progress to full-time hours (37.5 per week)
• Good spoken and written English
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
• Must be resident of Gloucestershire, England
• Previous experience in domiciliary or health & social care (Minimum 1 year preferred)
• Full UK driving licence
