Qleaf Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant (HCA) to provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes and home care settings. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting with daily activities, ensuring residents’ comfort, and promoting their well-being. Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Support with meal preparation and feeding as required
• Help implement individualised care plans in collaboration with the care team
• Monitor residents’ health and report any concerns to senior staff promptly
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided using IT systems
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues to ensure holistic care
• Support residents’ emotional well-being through companionship and engagement activities
• Drive or accompany residents to appointments or outings when necessary

Requirements

• Previous experience in a care home or home care environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
• Valid driving licence is desirable for roles involving transportation of residents
• Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Basic IT skills for recording and updating care plans and documentation
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with residents and team members
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• A caring attitude, patience, and respect for residents’ dignity and privacy

Pay: £12.21-£25.26 per hour
